Doctoral Program in Computer Application Technology (academic degree)
1. Introduction
Tianjin University established the computer discipline in 1958, and founded Department of Computer Science and Engineering in 1983. It has cultivated tens of thousands of outstanding talents in the field of computer science for China, making it become one of the earliest universities engaging in teaching and scientific research in the field of computer science. The school of computer science and technology has a complete talents training system, including a post-doctoral mobile station, doctor degree, master degree, and bachelor degree programs. Tianjin first doctoral program in this discipline appeared in the school of Computer Science and Technology of Tianjin university. After 60 years of development, computer discipline has formed the following special research directions: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Advanced Computer Networks, Computer Vision and Media Information Processing, Network and Information System Security, Speech Generation Perception and Cognitive Computing, Semantic Computing and Knowledge Mining, Biocomputing, etc.
2. Objectives
