The 34th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE 2019), one of the most prestigious academic conferences in the Software Engineering field, was held from Nov. 11th to 15th, 2019 in San Diego, USA. This year, 445 papers were submitted to this conference, and 86 papers were ultimately accepted. The acceptance rate was 19.3%.
The paper titled History-Guided Configuration Diversification for Compiler Test-Program Generation, a collaborative work by Tianjin University’s College of Intelligence and Computing, Peking University and The University of Newcastle, won the Distinguished Paper Award.

This paper aims to produce a set of bug-revealing and diverse test configurations based on historical information, and then generate test programs for effective and efficient compiler testing based on this set of test configurations.
