Xiaowang Zhang

Professor | PhD.

I am a full professor in College of Intelligence and Computing at Tianjin University in China. I received my PhD. degree from Peking University in 2011 (supervisor: prof. Zuoquan Lin) and previously worked as a postdoc at Hasselt University in Belgium (sep.2011 - dec.2014, supervisor: prof.Jan Van den Bussche). In 2009, I worked at Griffith University in Australia as a visiting PhD student (co-supervisor: prof.Kewen Wang) and in 2018, I worked at Griffith University in Australia as a visiting associate professor. In 2018, I was selected in the program of Peiyang Young Scholars in Tianjin University. In 2016, I won the ACM Tianjin Rising Star award.
My main area of research is that of knowledge graph, natural language processing, databases, and multimodal machine learning.
