I am a professor in College of Intelligence and Computing at Tianjin University in China and a visting associate professor at Griffith University in Australia. I received my PhD. degree from Peking University in 2011 (supervisor: prof. Zuoquan Lin) and previously worked as a postdoc at Hasselt University in Belgium (sep.2011 - dec.2014, supervisor: prof.Jan Van den Bussche). In 2009, I worked at Griffith University in Australia as a visiting PhD student and in 2018, I worked at Griffith University in Australia as a visiting associate professor.
My main area of research is that of artificial intelligence, knowledge graph, databases, and semantic web. Currently, I am mostly interested in data management and data processing in a distributed context. In the past, I worked on knowledge representation and reasoning, ontology non-classical reasoning, and logics in databases etc. In 2018, I was selected in the program of Peiyang Young Scholars in Tianjin University. In 2016, I won the ACM Tianjin Rising Star award.
